1. What type of work can be undertaken?

The DP Road repair patcher is ideal for Potholes, utility cuts, wheel path rutting, road edge repairs, crack sealing and depressions.

2. How long will the repair last?

 The repairs have proven to last 5-7 years and in most cases outlast the road itself.

3. What are the restrictions?

The only restrictions are heavy downpour, where the repair area becomes engulfed with water as soon as it is cleared. 

The machine comes with a winter pack which, consists of a burning torch on the mixer head, allowing a damp, wet or frozen area to be prepared for repair. In addition to this the hopper itself is heated to ensure aggregate is not affected by moisture.

 4. What depth of repair can be performed?

A repair depth of up to 300 mm has been carried out and performs well; this is due to the material being compacted from the bottom upwards forming a solid foundation.

5. Is this a permanent solution?

The repair is classed as permanent, however, a pothole can appear for a number of reasons.
