  • Mixing head (main jet)
  • Joy-stick operation
  • Aggregate hopper
  • Bitumen tank
  • Warning sign

Operation

The complete repair can be carried out from the driver's seat. All operations are controlled by means of two joysticks, and all other functions can be controlled from the panel inside the cabin.

The main jet

The following media are ejected:
compressed air, bitumen emulsion,
aggregate. The mixing head mixes
bitumen emulsion and aggregate.

Safety

The operator works in a safe and ergonmically designed enviroment at a comfortable temperature. He is not exposed to traffic, dirt or butumen fumes and has an excellent view over the working area.

High mobility

The fast relocation and rapid conversion from transport to working mode give the Patcher a high mobility. There is no long preperation or waiting time thanks to the thermostat-controlled LPG burner. The Patcher heats and mixes the material by itself. It can start work immediately after reaching the repair site. Repairs can be carried out regardless of ambient temperature in all seasons.

The aggregate hopper Air compressor Bitumen emulsion tank

The aggregate is protected in
a heated hopper with a folding
cover. A screw conveyor with
infinitely adjustable speed
transports the aggregate to
the ejector housing. From
there it is blown to the main
jet by a powerful air blower.

The air compressor generates
a powerful current of air and is
equipped with double silencers.
This contributes to its low noise
Level, which makes the
DP Road Repair Patcher
especially suitable for operation
in cities and other densely
populated areas at night.
In the insulated bitumen
emulsion tank, a thermostat-
controlled safety LPG burner
maintains the bitumen
emulsion at the desired
temperature whilst a 60 L/min
circulation pump ensures
even heat distribution.
The tank is filled by means of
the internal bitumen pump.
